Tuition for Adults

AVAILABLE NOW! One space has become available in my Wednesday morning class:
Wednesdays in primary school terms 10am-12. $20/2 hour session regardless of number in class (max 5 students).
I negotiate each student’s individual programme with you as you go along. For drawing, I can provide all materials (included in fee); for painting, you provide most paint and canvas or other surface (we would discuss that).

  •  Maybe you think you can’t draw? I promise I can teach you to draw!
  • Or maybe you know you can draw and you want some fresh ideas or the stimulus of regular drawing sessions to keep you at it?
  • Or maybe you would prefer to paint? I can work with you to develop drawings, or groups of photos, to paintings that say what you want to say about your subject.

  • I wouldn’t encourage making paintings straight from single photos but, if you want to do that, I can help you with how to turn that picture into a painting.
  • Maybe you’d like to try sewing canvas first before painting? Or painting on other things?
  • I will work with you, using your ideas and mine, to develop a programme for you as an individual or small group.

Individual tuition costs $27.50/hour for a minimum of 2 hours each time. This includes the use of my artist quality materials except you may need to provide your own painting surface eg stretched canvas.

Shared lessons could be as low as $10/hour {minimum 2 hours} depending on the number in the group, the way we organise the lessons and materials used.
