This series is about looking into, out of and through. Drawings and ideas came from doorways, windows, stage sets – any openings, physical or not, where we can see light, or shadows, or it’s just darkly mysterious…………
Ways Through are cut aluminium sheet and oil painted sewn canvas. 1 & 3 are sold; 5 is donated; 2 & 4 were $300 each, NOW $40 each! They’re about 22 x 22cm.

Seeing Through are oil paint/collage on prepared paper. They’re framed in white painted wood between 2 sheets of glass [see top photo]. Each work has an actual opening, through which you can see light and shadows on the wall behind. I’ve placed them on orange, just for the photos, to show you that – see the exhibition photo at the top for what they’re like framed. They’re 30 x 38cm framed and cost $400 each (No 2 sold).
